High Protein Wraps from BFree

TOP TIP: I find that if you heat up the wrap in the microwave for around 20 seconds, they are easier to work with.


So here are my 4 High Protein Wrap Recipes! Please do let me know in the comments below which one is your favourite!


1. Tuna Crunch Wrap

Tuna Crunch Wrap toasted.

You will need:

- 1 BFree Wrap

- Handful of Spinach

- 1 tin of drained Tuna Steaks

- 5 chopped Cherry Tomatoes

- Handful of chopped Cucumber

- Handful of fresh Basil

- 1 tbsp Greek Yogurt alternative

- Salt and Pepper to taste



To create:

  1. Mix together the tuna, tomatoes, cucumber, basil, yogurt, and seasoning in a bowl.

  2. Place a small handful of spinach into the centre of the wrap, and top with the tuna mix.

  3. Fold into a square parcel, and spray with a little oil.

  4. Pan fry for 6-8 minutes until slightly golden and crisp.

 

2. Chicken, Bacon, and Mayo Pin Wheel

Chicken, bacon, and mayonnaise pin wheels

You will need:

- 1 BFree Wrap

- Handful of Lettuce

- 100g Cooked Chicken, shredded

- 3 Bacon Rashers

- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise

- Salt and Pepper to taste

- Cocktail Sticks




To create:

  1. Mix together the chicken, bacon, and mayonnaise in a bowl, and season.

  2. Place the mixture onto the wrap, and spread across the entire wrap surface.

  3. Lay some lettuce leaves on top of the spread.

  4. Roll the wrap into a long roll and place in some cocktail sticks to hold it together, leaving about an inch gap between each.

  5. Cut the roll in the middle of each spaced-out stick.

 

3. Pizza Wrap

Pepperoni Pizza wrap

You will need:

- 1 BFree Wrap

- 3 tbsp Pizza Sauce

- 2 handfuls of grated dairy-free Cheese

- Toppings of choice









To create:

  1. Spread the pizza sauce over one side of the wrap.

  2. Top with cheese and toppings of choice.

  3. Place in a 200-degree Celsius preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the wrap has slightly crisped at the edges.

 

4. Peanut Butter Jelly Folded Wrap

Peanut Butter and Jelly folded wrap

You will need:

- 1 BFree Wrap

- 1 tbsp Peanut Butter

- 1/2 Banana, sliced

- 2 Strawberries,, sliced

- 2 tsp Strawberry Jam







To create:

  1. Slice the wrap from the centre, straight out to one side.

  2. Spread the peanut butter on the first quadrant, the sliced banana on the second, the sliced strawberries on the third, and the jam on the last one.

  3. Start by folding the peanut butter quadrant onto the banana, and then keep folding onto each quadrant until you have your folded wrap.
